Job summary

Nextpower Inc. is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Excellence & Reliability in Mesa, AZ, with hybrid work as required. You will shape the quality, reliability, and supplier-excellence strategy for utility-scale inverter products produced by contract manufacturers.

You will lead Manufacturing Excellence, Quality & Supplier Excellence, and Reliability & Product Integrity teams to meet safety, quality, and reliability goals across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 12+ years in power electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficient in APQP, FMEA, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, reliability engineering, supplier management, and customer-facing executive engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define the manufacturing excellence strategy and annual OKRs.
• Oversee Manufacturing Excellence, Quality & Supplier Excellence, and Reliability & Product Integrity.
• Drive process capability, automation, and optimization initiatives.
• Own supplier quality performance and executive supplier reviews.
• Lead CAPA and quality management systems and drive warranty reductions.
• Manage customer relationships for Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability engagements.
