Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Engineer to optimize power electronics production in Mesa, AZ, with hybrid work as required. This hands-on role collaborates with contract manufacturers and cross-functional teams to move products from prototype to scalable production.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, leading PFMEAs, developing tooling, and driving improvements to quality, cost, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience improving assembly processes for electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for power electronics.
• Support NPI, prototype builds, and ramp-up to production readiness.
• Create work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
• Lead PFMEAs and implement actions to reduce production risk.
• Analyze production data to reduce defects and improve yield.
