Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Excellence & Reliability in Mesa, AZ to define and drive the manufacturing excellence, quality, and reliability strategy with contract manufacturers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, partner with senior leaders, and establish KPI governance to ensure safety, quality, performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years in power electronics manufacturing or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and executive-level performance reviews.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Experience applying APQP, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Manufacturing Excellence, Quality and Reliability strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across functions to deliver improvements.
• Manage executive-level supplier and customer engagements including reviews and audits.
• Establish KPIs and governance for quality, reliability, and supplier performance.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and capital investments for manufacturing programs.
