J Street Property Services is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the onsite service team and safeguard the community’s assets. You will drive preventive maintenance, apartment readiness, and a resident-focused experience in collaboration with the Community Director.

You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate vendor work, and ensure safety and quality across building systems and common areas. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to service excellence.

Competenze

• Experience supervising onsite service teams in multifamily or facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, service manuals and safety documentation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and resident-focused service.

• Lead, train, schedule, supervise, and coach the onsite service team.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations: requests, make-readies, preventive maintenance, inspections.
• Ensure timely, professional, and respectful service to residents.
• Manage vendors, purchases, and property expenditure within approved budgets.
