J Street is seeking a Maintenance Director in Arlington, TX to lead the onsite service team, protect assets, and drive preventative maintenance while partnering with the Community Director to deliver a responsive, high-quality resident experience.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development and operational discipline, aiming to uphold safety, reliability, and occupancy performance across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing or facilities.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred or obtainable.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead, train, and coach onsite maintenance team to deliver quality service.
• Manage daily maintenance operations, requests, and make-readies.
• Plan preventative maintenance and inspections to protect asset.
• Oversee vendor relationships and property projects.
• Maintain safety, records, and compliance with policies.
