Job summary

Miami Parking is seeking a Manager of Operations - Maintenance to lead maintenance across parking garages, surface lots, and facilities in the Miami area. You will supervise staff, coordinate work orders, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across all sites.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems and contractor oversight, with responsibilities for risk management, OSHA compliance, and emergency preparedness, while delivering reliable, well-maintained infrastructure for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or equivalent technical training considered.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible facility maintenance experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience managing multiple facilities, contractors, budgets, and maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, concrete, painting, drainage, lighting, and building systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, CMMS/work order systems, and GPS fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop maintenance staff.
• Inspect facilities daily and monitor work quality.
• Plan, assign, and verify completion of work orders and projects.
• Ensure safety, attendance, productivity, and customer service.
• Oversee contractors, vendors, and service agreements.
• Prepare operational reports and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and drive maintenance performance.
• Coordinate hurricane preparedness and emergency drills.
