Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Director, Event Services to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events at the T-Mobile Center in Missouri. This role directs the Event Services team, acts as the primary client liaison, and oversees readiness, budgets, and issue resolution to ensure safe, organized, and successful events.

You will supervise staff, recruit and train personnel, manage production notes, and coordinate with venue departments to deliver high-quality entertainment experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• 3–5 years of related work experience in planning and managing special events (arena productions or live entertainment preferred).
• Experience supervising, leading, mentoring, or managing event planning personnel.
• Ability to manage within designated budgets and handle confidential information.
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills; ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Event Services team, provide supervision, coaching, and performance management for staff.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain Event Services personnel.
• Serve as primary client contact for events and coordinate details with venue departments.
• Develop production notes, schedule production meetings, and delegate tasks across operations, security, catering, and other teams.
• Manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting; monitor expenditures for cost control.
• Oversee event readiness, vendor relationships, and adherence to venue policies and contractual obligations.
