Job summary

Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Entertainment Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of its venues and to ensure stellar concert and event execution.

You will partner with the Entertainment Buyer, lead venue staff, manage budgets and vendor relations, and create memorable guest experiences that align with Cedar Crossing's Discovery brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Entertainment Management, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Five+ years in live entertainment or venue management.
• Experience coordinating live events and venue operations; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Compass Center, Stage 180, EPICENTER, and Box Office.
• Partner with Entertainment Buyer to execute programming, artist relations, hospitality, travel, and production.
• Ensure venue readiness, ticketing, AV, and event logistics for safe performances.
• Curate guest experience by managing overhead music, signage, video displays, and atmosphere.
• Lead and develop Box Office staff, AV technicians, ushers, stagehands, and other entertainment personnel.
• Manage entertainment budgets, vendor relations, contracts, and event reporting.
