Job summary

Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee daily outlets, manage staff, and ensure quality service while maintaining budgeting and compliance.

You will collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership, develop menus, control costs, train teams, and uphold hygiene standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Applicants should hold a hospitality management degree and 3–5 years in F&B leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in food and beverage with progressive management roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, menu-driven programs, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests in accordance with Cedar Crossing culture.
• Maintains confidentiality of privileged information per company policy and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with department and company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Creates and fosters an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
• Collaborates with kitchen staff to assist in menu planning while considering customer preferences and budget constraints.
• Ensures food and drink quality meets standards and guest expectations.
• Monitors stock levels, minimizes waste, and controls costs.
• Oversees customer interactions and addresses concerns to enhance satisfaction.
• Upholds hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in F&B areas and manages budgeting and cost analysis.
