Job summary

Unique Designs Inc. is seeking a high-impact Vice President to build and lead our live-commerce and streaming business across Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, and emerging channels.

This hands-on leader will own strategy, P&L, and growth, leveraging jewelry inventory, product development, global sourcing, and operational resources to create a scalable revenue channel. You will recruit hosts, manage shows, and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success building or growing a live-commerce or closely related digital retail business.
• Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, QVC/HSN, TalkShopLive, or similar platforms.
• Proven responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, budgets, forecasts, or a business-unit P&L.
• Strong knowledge of livestream merchandising, audience development, hosting, and performance marketing.
• Experience recruiting and managing hosts, creators, producers, or commercial teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate performance data into decisions.
• Willingness to work strategically and tactically while building from the ground up.
• Ability to work from our Secaucus office and support evening or weekend programming when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the live-commerce strategy, operating plan, budget, and growth priorities across platforms.
• Own revenue, gross profit, contribution margin, expenses, CAC, and overall channel profitability.
• Identify platforms, categories, price points, and show formats to test, scale, or discontinue.
• Partner with merchandising, inventory, and product-development teams on streaming assortments.
• Develop pricing, promotions, bundles, and streaming-exclusive offers.
• Balance inventory liquidation with a sustainable repeat-purchase business.
• Build the streaming calendar; oversee show concepts, scripts, and production standards.
• Recruit, train, and manage hosts, producers, moderators, creators, and staff.
• Remain closely involved in day-to-day execution and participate when needed.
• Acquire, engage, and retain customers through creators, paid media, social content, email, and SMS.
• Grow a loyal customer community and improve conversion, repeat purchase rate, and LTV.
• Repurpose livestream content into effective social-media and e-commerce assets.
• Track performance by platform, show, host, product, and customer; report metrics.
• Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, finance, IT, and compliance for listings and fulfillment.
• Establish scalable procedures for inventory reservation, order processing, shipping, returns, fraud prevention, and platform compliance.
