Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve production systems within a cloud-native, Azure-hosted lending platform. You’ll own system health, security, and performance, while adopting AI-assisted development daily to speed delivery with engineering rigor.

Expect collaboration across product management, UX, and QA with a focus on scalable APIs and robust integrations. You’ll mentor peers, contribute to ADRs, and shape architectural decisions in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Proven professional software development experience including architecture and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Angular for full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and distributed, event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with EF Core including query optimization, change tracking, and migrations.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Experience in code review as author and reviewer, focusing on quality and maintainability.
• Financial services or regulated-industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade services and UI features across the lending platform.
• Own technical decisions balancing delivery speed with long-term health and maintainability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, background services, and event-driven integrations.
• Write clean, secure, and testable code; participate in code reviews enforcing SOLID principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with product management, UX design, and quality engineering from concept through delivery.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and ADRs.
• Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar through code review and knowledge sharing.
