Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Senior Manager of Leaves & Accommodations to oversee the COE, serve as the SME on leave management and interactive processes, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This primarily remote role prefers Chicagoland candidates.

You will lead a team, develop policies, and guide cross-functional partners to optimize leave programs and data-driven insights for improved employee experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field with emphasis in business or finance.
• Experience with AbsenceSoft preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading a center of excellence for leave and accommodations.
• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Familiarity with ERISA and employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities

• Function as the strategic owner of scalable policies and operational frameworks for centralized management of leave and accommodation programs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, customer service-oriented team.
• Establish performance expectations and SLAs for the COE.
• Identify areas for ongoing process improvement and implement enhancements.
• Provide counsel to senior leaders on complex employee matters.
• Partner with Benefits, Payroll, HR, Legal, and Risk leaders.
• Develop and deliver educational resources on leaves and accommodations.
• Leverage data reporting to monitor trends and mitigate risk.
