Job summary

Lennar is seeking a VP of Land Development to lead the land development team and oversee field operations for residential project delivery. This role is responsible for guiding projects from permits to community turnover, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

The VP will coordinate with Project Managers and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective development and adherence to quality standards across all phases of land

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and field personnel of the land development department and guide teams to high performance.
• Oversee projects from permit approvals through construction and final certification and community turnover.
• Responsible for successful delivery of new projects using schedules, budgets, environmental studies, Geotechnical reports, and permit compliance reports.
• Design and install land development improvements including grading, water/sewer services, dry utilities, paving and landscaping to required specs.
• Develop entitlements and budgets; manage NPDES and SWPPP compliance for developments and third party lot purchases.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure cross-department collaboration and timely deliveries.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and consultants; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or related field
