Job summary

The Driskill, a luxury hotel, seeks a Manager of Information Technology and Security to lead IT and security operations, risk management, and emergency preparedness in alignment with Hyatt standards.

You will partner with hotel leadership, oversee network and guest technology, access control, CCTV, incident investigations, budgeting, vendor management, and a culture of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Security Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least five years of progressive experience in hotel operations, IT, security, risk management, or related environment, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Hospitality experience strongly preferred, especially in luxury hotel environments.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, access control, CCTV, emergency management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, capital projects, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead calmly during emergencies, investigations, and service interruptions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISM, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead Information Technology and Security department, set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure accountability.
• Direct daily security operations; maintain procedures, access control, CCTV, life safety coordination, and incident documentation.
• Own emergency response planning, business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and crisis communications.
• Oversee investigations involving security, safety, guest concerns, theft, or liability in partnership with HR and authorities.
• Oversee operation of hotel network, telecom, guest technologies, property systems, and POS systems.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and vendor performance.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop colleagues; foster a culture of safety and service.
• Use data to identify improvements and measure effectiveness.
• Maintain partnerships with Hyatt technology resources, leadership, and vendors.
