Job summary

The Driskill, a Hyatt property, seeks a Manager of Information Technology and Security to lead IT and security functions in a unified model, protecting guests, colleagues, and assets while ensuring secure, reliable technology operations across property systems.

In this hotel leadership role, you will guide cybersecurity practices, incident response, and risk management while collaborating with operations, finance, and corporate partners to sustain service excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Security Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years in hotel operations, information technology, security, risk management, or related environment, with supervisory experience.
• Hospitality experience in luxury hotel or complex operating environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, access control, CCTV, emergency management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated budget, vendor, and capital project management experience.
• Ability to lead during emergencies, investigations, and service interruptions.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and guest-service skills.
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISM, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, CPR/First Aid/AED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Information Technology and Security department; set priorities and service expectations; allocate resources.
• Direct day-to-day safety and security operations; maintain procedures, access control, CCTV, post orders, and incident documentation.
• Own emergency response planning, business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and crisis communication support.
• Oversee investigations involving security, safety, guest or colleague concerns, theft, fraud, or liability; partner with HR and authorities.
• Oversee reliable operation of hotel network, telecommunications, property management and point-of-sale systems, guest technology, and related platforms.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, data protection, and compliance with Hyatt requirements and regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, procurement, and vendor performance; manage contracts.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop colleagues; foster professionalism, service, safety, and accountability.
• Use incident trends and performance data to identify improvements and measure effectiveness.
• Maintain effective relationships with Hyatt technology and security resources, leadership, and external agencies.
