Job summary

People’s Credit Union in Middletown, RI is seeking a Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure to lead day-to-day technology operations, infrastructure, and service delivery for employees and branches. You will drive IT strategy, incident response, and project implementations in a regulated financial environment.

The role requires strong leadership across infrastructure, network, cloud, and security domains with a focus on governance, documentation, and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise technology environments (infrastructure, networking, systems, cloud, end-user support).
• Minimum five (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience managing technical staff, projects, vendors, or teams.
• Experience in financial institutions, regulated industries, or highly controlled technology environments preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive.
• Excellent communication with executives, business units, auditors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Direct IT Operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and asset lifecycle management.
• Oversee service desk operations, ticketing standards, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Lead network, cloud, endpoint management, and security administration.
• Coordinate with governance on risk assessments, audits, and policy compliance.
• Manage vendor relations, budgets, and technology project implementations.
