Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in Columbus, OH, seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity leader to oversee network and server environments across eight locations. You will ensure availability, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring while coordinating with ERP teams on deployments.

You will drive security initiatives, manage patching and vendor relationships, and mentor site IT staff to maintain regulatory compliance including CMMC requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity functions, ideally across a multi-site environment.
• 8+ years of IT experience as a systems/network engineer or infrastructure administrator.
• Experience with IT security, WAN/SD-WAN, routing, switching, cloud services (AWS preferred), and server administration.
• Familiarity with CMMC and related federal contractor cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-171) strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of network infrastructure across all locations (WAN, LAN, wireless, and security).
• Manage server infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-hosted (AWS) systems, ensuring availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve outages and issues.
• Work with application and ERP teams on project implementations and problem resolution.
• Maintain patch management of network infrastructure, servers, and end-user systems to ensure security and up-to-date systems.
• Manage cybersecurity, infrastructure, and related IT projects across locations within budgets.
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity tools and processes to ensure company safety and security.
