Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of IT services across our corporate office and growing data center portfolio. This hands-on leadership role reports to the VP of IT & Cybersecurity and combines people leadership with active technical engagement.

You will own run-the-business IT operations, oversee service delivery, infrastructure health, patching, backups, and network availability, and travel 30-40% to new site deployments,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years IT infrastructure and operations experience.
• 2+ years directly managing or leading technical staff.
• Hands-on depth in Windows & Linux server administration.
• Experience with virtualization, backup, and MS 365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop IT Operations team.
• Own IT service delivery outcomes in ITSM and reporting.
• Hands-on across core stack: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, backup, MS 365, Grafana, networking.
• Travel 30-40% to deploy new data center sites.
• Own patching, backups, capacity planning, asset lifecycle.
• Partner on Grafana observability and on-call coverage.
• Support ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2, PCI DSS audits with evidence.
