Job summary

Mainspring is a collaborative social service hub focused on helping individuals and families access needed resources. The Director of Clinical Programs leads the clinical and coordinated-care components, guiding intake, case management, and referral coordination.

This is a leadership role directing a skilled team, providing clinical supervision and consultation, and ensuring services are well integrated with partners and across the Mainspring model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current Maine clinical licensure such as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in social services, behavioral health, housing, or related human-services fields.
• Experience supervising staff and managing programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with data-informed practice.
• Experience with data systems and outcome measurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision for intake, case management, and referrals.
• Oversee centralized intake and assessment, coordination of case conferences.
• Develop and improve clinical programs, standards, and workflows.
• Foster collaboration with partners and ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Support staff with complex client situations and provide coverage as needed.
