Job summary

CCAP is seeking an accomplished executive to serve as Managing Director of Insurance Programs, leading one of the Association’s largest member service areas. The role oversees strategic and operational leadership for CCAP’s insurance and risk management programs and guides a team of about 35 professionals.

You will build relationships with county leaders, governing boards, vendors, and strategic partners, ensure long-term financial and operational strength, and participate on CCAP’s senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, risk management, insurance, or related field.
• Significant executive or senior management experience.
• Experience in insurance, risk pools, claims, risk management, association mgmt, governmental organizations, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for CCAP’s insurance and risk management programs.
• Lead and support an experienced team of approximately 35 professionals.
• Build strong relationships with county leaders, governing boards, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Help ensure the long-term financial and operational strength of the Insurance Programs.
• Serve on CCAP’s senior leadership team and contribute to Association-wide priorities.
