Job summary

GigSafe is seeking a Head of Insurance to lead our Insurance Operations and set the standard for how GigSafe handles insurance across the business. You’ll own the full insurance function, from program design to claims, licensing, and partnerships, enabling deployments and reducing risk as we scale into new industries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the insurance domain.
• Embedded Insurance and P&C lines expertise.
• Licensed for P&C or willing to obtain license.
• Experience building and managing insurance programs.
• Customer-facing experience and readiness to be SF or Austin based.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage insurance programs, including coverage, design, pricing, renewals; own economics.
• Manage carrier, MGA, and broker relationships; lead renewals and underwriting questions.
• Oversee compliance, licensing, filings, education, and funds flow; ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee claims management from intake to resolution with partners and contractors.
• Own COI issuance and verification; manage additional insured endorsements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to automate insurance workflows.
