Job summary

Westfield Insurance is seeking an Accident & Health Operations Manager to lead onboarding and integration of MGUs, coordinating across underwriting, licensing, compliance, and IT to ensure scalable, compliant program launches.

You will own the MGU onboarding strategy, set timelines, manage day-to-day partner relationships, and drive process improvements to optimize policy issuance, reporting, and service levels. This role requires strong project management skills and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in insurance operations, preferably Accident & Health or specialty lines.
• Experience with MGUs, delegated authority models, or third-party administrators.
• Knowledge of policy administration, lifecycle processes, and operations.
• Familiarity with licensing requirements and multi-state regulatory environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the MGU onboarding strategy with standardized frameworks and best practices.
• Design scalable onboarding processes for multiple MGUs, programs, and channels.
• Define onboarding timelines, milestones, and success criteria across implementations.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding of new MGU partners, including readiness and system integration.
• Coordinate onboarding deliverables across underwriting, legal, compliance, IT, and finance.
• Establish workflows for submission intake, policy issuance, reporting, and escalation.
• Ensure MGUs are trained on processes, systems, and reporting expectations.
• Oversee policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals per guidelines.
• Identify bottlenecks and monitor policy lifecycle metrics and SLAs.
• Coordinate producer and entity licensing across MGUs and jurisdictions.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for delegated authority and compliance.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for MGUs and drive issue resolution.
• Drive automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
