Job summary

Highwire seeks an experienced Director of Insights & Analytics to transform research and analytics into actionable client insights and to drive business impact across diverse sectors. You will partner with client teams to develop measurement frameworks, dashboards, and strategic recommendations.

The role combines data, research, and storytelling to advance Highwire's insights capability and support growth for a best-in-class practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in analytics, insights, research, measurement, or related field.
7+ years of experience in measurement, analytics, research, or insights roles in a communications/PR/marketing agency.
Experience in B2B communications across tech, cybersecurity, healthcare, financial services, or professional services (preferred).
Proven ability to translate data and research into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Strong experience with secondary research, measurement frameworks, and analytics platforms.
Excellent writing and presentation skills to communicate insights to clients and internal audiences.
Experience developing dashboards, reports, and performance measurement frameworks.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to translate business challenges into research questions and measurement strategies.
Experience collaborating across client services, digital, creative, and data teams.
Familiarity with data analytics stacks; exposure to AI/ML for deeper insights.
Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of measurement and insights strategies across client programs.
Analyze data across earned media, social media, web analytics to identify trends and recommendations.
Synthesize secondary research into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into campaign strategy.
Build agency measurement frameworks, methodologies, and datasets.
Develop reports and dashboards communicating KPIs, ROI, and campaign impact.
Serve as client-facing insights expert translating complex methodologies into accessible recommendations.
Stay current on emerging analytics and AI-driven methodologies.
Support internal data literacy through training and knowledge sharing.
Mentor junior team members as the insights function grows.
