The Department of General Services in Washington, DC seeks an executive leader to direct citywide HVAC and boiler plant operations within the Facilities Management Division. You will supervise managers, oversee budgets, and set strategic goals to ensure safe, efficient facility operations across the District’s portfolio.

• Executive leadership overseeing HVAC and boiler plant operations.
• Experience developing and managing approved budgets and procurement.
• Supervisory experience over administrative and trades staff.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the principal adviser to the Deputy Director of Facilities Management on unit missions.
• Supervise and accountable for administrative, trades, and craftsmen staff.
• Develop unit strategies, budgets, and manpower projections; approve policies.
• Plan projects, allocate resources, and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Prepare operating budgets and manage procurement of materials and tools.
