Job summary

DC Government seeks a seasoned HVAC supervisor to oversee operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the District's facility portfolio. You will provide expert technical guidance to leadership, ensure compliance with District and federal requirements, and drive reliability through PMP and BAS integration.

Responsibilities include leading the HVAC Operations Unit, advising executives on risks and performance, coordinating budget planning, and ensuring safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Specialized experience directly related to HVAC operations and supervision.
• Ability to advise leadership on HVAC performance, risks, and compliance.
• Experience with budget planning for HVAC operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as supervisory lead for the HVAC Operations Unit, guiding division leadership.
• Advise agency managers on HVAC system operations, performance, and compliance.
• Develop and manage budget requirements for HVAC operations.
• Oversee QA reviews and the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for HVAC systems.
• Oversee BAS usage and energy management strategies for HVAC systems.
