Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) seeks a Manager of HPC Solutions Architecture to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering secure, scalable HPC solutions for research and industry partners.

You will guide deployments from discovery through design, PoCs, and production, aligning technical outcomes with business goals while shaping platform roadmaps and best practices across compute, storage, and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in HPC, solutions architecture, or large-scale systems design.
• 3+ years of technical team leadership across domains.
• Strong cross-domain architecture across compute, storage, networking, K8s, and security.
• Hands-on HPC tech including CUDA, Slurm, Armada, Lustre, GPFS, and object stores.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into scalable HPC designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Architects across compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, security, and systems integration.
• Engage with customers to design secure, scalable HPC solutions and drive adoption.
• Oversee reference architectures and design blueprints for repeatable solutions.
• Guide proof-of-concept initiatives and validate performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps.
• Stay current with GPUs, interconnects, and orchestration frameworks.
• Represent the company at client workshops and industry events.
