Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud is seeking a Manager of HPC Solutions Architecture to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering secure, scalable HPC solutions. You will guide engagements from discovery through deployment, translating workload needs into reference architectures and production-ready patterns.

You will collaborate with product and engineering, shaping platform roadmaps and best practices while advancing AI/ML workloads and high-performance compute initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HPC, Solutions Architecture, or large-scale systems design.
• 3+ years of technical team leadership (architects/engineers).
• Proven leadership managing multi-disciplinary teams within HPC, cloud, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong architectural expertise across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and security.
• Hands-on HPC technologies including GPU acceleration (CUDA) and distributed storage.
• Experience designing secure and compliant architectures with identity management and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Architects across compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, security, and systems integration.
• Serve as strategic link between customers, your team, and engineering to align outcomes with platform evolution.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and maximize value of HPC architectures.
• Oversee creation of reference architectures and design blueprints for repeatable solutions.
• Guide proof-of-concept initiatives and validate performance to accelerate adoption.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate field insights into roadmaps and patterns.
