Job summary

NorthMark Strategies is seeking a Manager of HPC Solutions Architecture in the United States. You will lead a team of domain specialists to design, deliver, and optimize high-performance computing solutions for diverse workloads, including AI/ML. Travel to client sites is possible as part of engagement and adoption efforts.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on architecture work, coordinating with product and engineering to scale platforms and drive measurable customer success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HPC, Solutions Architecture, or large-scale systems design.
• 3+ years of technical team leadership across domains.
• Strong architectural expertise across compute, storage, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Architects across compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, security, and systems integration.
• Act as the strategic link between customers, your team, and engineering.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers to maximize HPC value.
• Oversee reference architectures and design blueprints for repeatable systems.
• Guide proof-of-concept initiatives and accelerate customer confidence in adoption.
• Conduct design reviews and workload assessments to improve efficiency and resilience.
• Recommend strategic design choices across compute, storage, networking, data pipelines, and security.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps and features.
• Encourage prototyping of new HPC and AI/ML approaches for production use.
• Maintain documentation and reusable design patterns for consistent delivery.
• Stay current with emerging technologies (GPUs, interconnects, orchestration).
• Represent the organization at client workshops and industry events.
