Zusammenfassung

NorthMark Compute & Cloud is seeking an HPC Storage Solutions Architect to design, integrate, and optimize high‑performance storage for HPC, AI/ML, and data‑intensive workloads.

You will serve as a trusted advisor through requirements discovery, workload analysis, design, PoC, deployment, and long‑term optimization, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, efficient storage solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in storage architecture for HPC or large-scale systems.
• Expertise with parallel/distributed file systems (Lustre, GPFS, Ceph, VAST).
• Hands-on with multi-petabyte storage deployments and scaling.
• Knowledge of NFS/SMB/POSIX and Linux storage tuning.
• Experience in automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Ability to optimize HPC/AI/data workloads and workflows.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary storage SME for HPC customers.
• Capture workload storage requirements and performance objectives.
• Design end-to-end storage architectures (Lustre/GPFS/Ceph/VAST, object storage, tiering).
• Lead PoC and benchmarking to validate performance and resiliency.
• Implement integration across compute, networking, and orchestration layers.
• Conduct workflow assessments to improve throughput, latency, and cost.
• Develop architecture blueprints and reusable design patterns.
• Work with IaC (Ansible, Terraform) for repeatable environments.
• Collaborate to refine storage offerings and influence roadmap.
• Partner with vendors to evaluate technologies and gather feedback.
• Stay current with storage tech and advise on adoption.
