Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC seeks an HPC Storage Solutions Architect to design and optimize high-performance storage for HPC, AI/ML, and data-intensive workloads. You will serve as a trusted advisor, assess workloads, craft end-to-end storage architectures, and guide deployments from POC to production.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and vendors, ensuring scalable, resilient storage with optimized throughput, latency, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in storage solution architecture for HPC or large-scale storage.
• Deep knowledge of Lustre, GPFS, Ceph, and VAST file systems.
• Hands-on scaling multi-petabyte storage deployments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary storage SME for HPC deployments.
• Capture workload storage requirements and performance objectives.
• Design end-to-end storage architectures (file/object/tiered).
• Lead POC, benchmarking, and production deployment activities.
• Integrate compute, network, and orchestration for end-to-end performance.
• Conduct workload assessments and optimize throughput and cost.
