Job summary

Rod 'N' Reel, Inc. seeks an experienced housekeeping leader to ensure a clean, safe, and guest-focused environment across rooms, public areas, and facilities. You will manage a team, monitor budgets, and drive service levels in line with the resort’s standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in housekeeping with supervisory responsibility, strong computer skills, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive housekeeping experience in a hotel or related field.
• 2+ years in a management or supervisory role overseeing at least 4 employees.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and their functions.
• Good mathematical and computer skills.
• High school education and relevant training; additional education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff; provide input for counseling, performance evaluations, and development.
• Assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget; track performance against plan.
• Implement and maintain cost-control for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies.
• Mentor and train associates; provide fair feedback to maximize guest service quality.
• Ensure quality services meet guest needs; maintain room quality per guidelines.
• Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy; adjust staffing as needed.
