Job summary

As AVP you will supervise executive directors and clinical staff, foster strong partnerships with hospitals and physicians, and lead performance improvement efforts to elevate care delivery and community impact.

Qualifications

• RN Degree highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple hospice sites, including financial management, staff development, admissions, payroll, and QA.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with Medicare, state licensing, accreditation, and CMS standards; prepare for surveys and audits.
• Develop and expand referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and discharge planners to meet revenue targets.
• Provide patient-centered oversight with clinical governance in home, hospital, and long-term care settings.
• Supervise executive directors, medical staff, volunteers, and cross-functional teams to optimize care coordination.
• Represent the organization publicly: manage PR, community relations, and address concerns.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to drive best-in-class hospice care.
