Job summary

Gentiva in Indiana seeks an experienced Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to oversee multi-site programs in IN North. This executive role ensures regulatory compliance, quality care, strategic growth, and strong community presence across markets.

You will lead operations, budgeting, staffing, and partnerships with hospitals and physicians to meet revenue targets while maintaining patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• RN degree preferred; healthcare admin degree considered.
• Multi-site hospice/healthcare leadership experience.
• 5+ years leadership in hospice/healthcare.
• 3+ years healthcare services leadership.
• Regulatory compliance, budgeting, staff leadership.
• Experience with HCHB is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CoPs, CMS regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead local operational strategy across multiple hospice sites.
• Ensure regulatory excellence for Medicare, state licensing, and surveys.
• Develop and expand referral partnerships with hospitals and physicians.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care oversight.
• Supervise executive directors, medical staff, and volunteers.
• Represent the organization in the community and manage PR.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs.
