Job summary

Gentiva is seeking an Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to oversee and elevate our state-wide hospice operations in Indiana North. This senior leadership role ensures regulatory compliance, strategic growth, and high-quality patient care across multiple programs.

You will lead executive directors, manage budgeting, and build partnerships with hospitals and physicians to expand services. RN license strongly preferred; active licensure, if applicable, is required.

Qualifications

• RN license strongly preferred; active RN license required if applicable.
• Multi-site operational leadership experience in hospice or healthcare settings.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, budgeting, staff leadership, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day hospice operations across multiple sites.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Medicare, licensing, accreditation and surveys.
• Develop and grow partnerships with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners.
• Provide patient- and family-centered oversight across home, hospital and long-term care settings.
• Supervise executive directors, medical staff, volunteers and cross-functional teams.
