Job summary

Gentiva in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to oversee multi-site programs across southern Indiana. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, strategic growth, quality patient care, and community engagement to elevate service delivery.

You will lead executive directors, clinical staff, and volunteers, while managing partnerships with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospice or healthcare operations.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, budgeting, and multi-site operations preferred.
• RN license required or active RN license with relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Local Operational Strategy across multiple hospice sites.
• Ensure Regulatory Excellence with Medicare, licensing, accreditation, and CMS rules.
• Build and grow partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and discharge planners.
• Provide patient-centered oversight across home, hospital, and long-term care settings.
• Direct team leadership of executive directors, medical staff, and volunteers.
• Represent the organization in public/community relations and ensure quality performance.
