Job summary

Clear Choice Health System is seeking a hands-on Director of Materials Management to lead purchasing, procurement, inventory, and vendor management across multiple facilities. You will build standardized processes, optimize costs, and ensure timely availability of supplies for emergency departments and hospitals.

Reporting to the CFO or designated executive, you will shape a scalable supply chain strategy, develop annual budgets, and mentor a growing team while maintaining regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and 5+ years in materials management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with hospital purchasing practices and GPOs.
• Strong cost-control and budgeting experience.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP/purchasing systems.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee purchasing, procurement, inventory management, vendor relationships, and supply chain operations.
• Develop standardized purchasing processes and a scalable supply chain infrastructure.
• Partner with executives to identify cost reductions and efficiencies.
• Develop budgets and procurement plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality across materials management.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative leaders for supply readiness.
• Lead department development and staff supervision.
