Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Director, Graduate Medical Education (GME) to provide strategic and operational leadership across residency and fellowship programs at Mercy Anderson, Mercy Fairfield, and The Jewish Hospital.

You will oversee accreditation activities, ensure compliance with ACGME standards, manage budgets and staffing, partner with the DIO/LPD and GMEC, and drive educational quality and patient safety across all sites.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Graduate Medical Education or related field.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience with programs, operations, or staff.
• Experience overseeing accredited GME programs and accreditation requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for GME across the organization and sites.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee accreditation activities, ADS, and reporting.
• Manage administrative and financial aspects of GME, including budgets and staffing.
• Collaborate with DIO/LPD, GMEC, Program Directors and clinical leadership.
