Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a Head of Global Expansion to own the end-to-end rollout of our wallet and card infrastructure from Arlington, VA.

You will shape the infrastructure build, integrate between Mambu, Checkout.com, and Remitly's platform, and drive cross-market launches with engineering and risk teams. This role requires 10+ years in payments or banking leadership, deep knowledge of fraud and KYC/AML, and a track record delivering scalable, compliant solutions across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Track record owning business outcomes for a product or expansion at scale.
• Experience integrating with core banking platforms (Mambu) and payment processors (Checkout.com).
• Deep understanding of fraud and compliance for card and wallet products (KYC/AML).
• Strong technical fluency; partner with engineers on design trade-offs.
• Experience owning a roadmap across multiple markets with focus on scalability.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to define success metrics.
• End-to-end ownership skills; able to work autonomously on cross-functional problems.
• 10+ years in product management or related leadership in payments/banking infra.

Responsibilities

• Own the global expansion effort end-to-end across markets.
• Define integration strategy between Mambu, Checkout.com, and Remitly's platform.
• Build money-in and money-out rails for accounts across markets.
• Lead CRM integration to support servicing and engagement teams.
• Architect fraud and risk infrastructure for global rollout.
• Own end-to-end expansion roadmap aligned to market launches.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to balance launches and scale.
• Communicate strategy and progress to senior leadership.
