Job summary

Remitly is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end features for the Global Card team. You will design and implement screens, APIs, and services that issue cards and move money, while upholding security and reliability in a regulated environment.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and operates in a hybrid capacity from our Arlington, VA office. You will collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and other engineering teams to translate customer needs into scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and performant software.
• Ability to lead projects, estimate timelines, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and write well-tested, scalable backend/full-stack features.
• Lead projects from design through launch with independence.
• Coach peers through code/design reviews and retrospectives.
