Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks an HR Director, Contingent Workforce to own strategy, governance, optimization and end-to-end management of staff augmentation and independent contractor engagements across regions and business units.

You will partner with Sourcing, HR, Finance, Legal, Risk, IT and business leaders to ensure the external workforce is cost-efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise talent strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in workforce management, procurement, or HR operations.
• Seven+ years leading enterprise-scale contingent workforce programs.
• Experience with MSP and VMS solutions.
• Expertise in contingent labor compliance and worker classification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year contingent workforce strategy.
• Lead governance and stakeholder communications.
• Manage end-to-end contingent labor lifecycle.
• Establish global/regional operating standards and compliance.
• Oversee spend, budgeting, and supplier optimization.
• Drive MSP/VMS ecosystem and contract negotiations.
• Assess and mitigate risks across geographies.
