Job summary
BioMérieux in Lombard, IL seeks a senior leader to establish and ramp the ACCELLIX Assay R&D capability with end-to-end accountability for building the team and delivering assay development programs. You will oversee technology transfer from the existing site and ensure continuity across San Jose, Jerusalem, and Lombard, guiding a unified ACCELLIX bioscience organization.
Transport and integration occur across US and Israel, requiring strategic execution, organizational build, and strong
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech with assay development or QC exposure and 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience leading multi-site, cross-border integration and technology transfer.
Responsibilities
- Build and structure the ACCELLIX Assay R&D team with scalable operating model.
- Lead transfer and integration of US team within BioMérieux across sites.
- Oversee cross-site collaboration, performance expectations, and ways of working.
- Drive knowledge transfer while maintaining continuity during integration.
- Ensure timely delivery of assay development programs per timelines.
- Prioritize resources and execution within ACCELLIX R&D scope.
- Coordinate with US and Israel teams to align priorities and plans.
- Represent BioMérieux scientific expertise at congresses and customer engagements.
