Job summary

HelloFresh in Newark, NJ seeks an Associate Director of Production Technology to lead the fulfillment tech ecosystem, spanning WMS/WES/WCS, robotics, and automation. You will partner with Operations, IT, Engineering and Product to drive reliability, throughput, and cost improvements across the North American network.

The role requires strategic direction, scalable roadmaps, and a proactive support model to enable safe, efficient, and scalable fulfillment. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop long-term technology roadmaps for fulfillment operations.
• Deep knowledge of WMS/WES/WCS, automation, and material handling.
• Experience aligning Operations, IT, and Engineering to drive throughput and cost improvements.
• Proven track record of implementing scalable, reliable fulfillment tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year fulfillment technology strategy to support North American supply chain and operations.
• Establish a roadmap spanning WMS, WES, WCS, robotics, automation, controls, and integrations.
• Optimize end-to-end fulfillment by coordinating enterprise apps, warehouse systems, and automation platforms.
• Partner with Operations, Automation, Engineering, and IT to deploy scalable automation solutions.
• Establish a proactive technology support model focused on availability, monitoring, and rapid incident resolution.
• Drive measurable improvements via analytics, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Lead technology delivery for new fulfillment center launches, system implementations, and network transformations.
• Build and develop a high-performing fulfillment tech organization with cross-functional collaboration.
