Job summary

Sardine is seeking a deeply experienced Head of Fraud Product to lead strategy, development, and execution of its fraud prevention suite. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle for fraud solutions and drive innovations across device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, and ML-driven features.

You will lead a team of product managers and partner with engineering, data science, risk operations, and GTM to deliver scalable, enterprise-ready products and maintain market leadership inFraud risk

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing other PMs.
• Deep hands-on experience in payment fraud at a high-growth payment processor, fraud-vendor company, or merchant.
• Prior experience at a specialized fraud vendor or B2B SaaS startup.
• Exceptional ability to work with large datasets and define, track, and optimize risk metrics (recall, precision, approval rates).
• Bias for action with a track record of taking zero-to-one products to market and scaling them to enterprise readiness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders (including C-suite).

Responsibilities

• Set the Vision & Strategy: define and execute the roadmap for Sardine's fraud product portfolio, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term innovation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Engineering and Data Science to translate fraud typologies into accurate, low-latency models and features.
• Optimize Core Metrics: drive improvements to maximize fraud catch rates while reducing false positives and user friction.
• Market & Threat Intelligence: stay up-to-date on fraud trends, ATO tactics, synthetic identity, and competitor capabilities.
• Go-to-Market Enablement: work with Marketing and Sales to define product positioning and sales enablement materials.
