Job summary

Zoox is hiring a Manager, Fleet Operations Training to own training for the full Fleet Operations workforce. This role leads a distributed team of training managers, instructional designers, and trainers to certify crews for safety-critical work and maintain readiness as the product and footprint scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operational training, enablement, or learning for a large operations workforce.
• 3+ years leading trainers, instructional staff, or training PMs.
• Hands-on LMS administration at scale with Docebo or comparable systems.

Responsibilities

• Set Fleet Operations training strategy and roadmap to align hires, launches, and milestones with safety.
• Own program quality end to end: curriculum standards, assessments, and pass-rate monitoring.
• Scale train-the-trainer and audit delivery across sites to a single standard.
• Partner with Contingent Workforce, Operations, Safety, and People/LD to ensure capacity and assets meet headcount.
• Run the learning platform as an operational system (Docebo) with auto-enrollment and analytics.
• Hire, coach, and organize a team of training PMs and people leaders.
• Stand up training infrastructure for new sites with classrooms and dedicated vehicles.
• Report training health to Fleet Operations leadership and monitor launch risk.
• Travel to operational sites ~10–20% to audit delivery and support launches.
