Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting seeks a VP of Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations in Houston. You will partner with the leadership team to drive sustainable growth and ensure financial health.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, risk management, and internal controls, while building strong relationships with banks and lenders to optimize capital and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in a financial leadership position at the VP or CFO level.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.
• Strong banking and treasury experience is required.
• Strategic financial leadership.
• Financial modeling and forecasting.
• Risk management and internal controls.
• Business partnering and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's overall financial strategy, planning, and forecasting.
• Oversee budgeting, financial modeling, and long-range financial plans.
• Manage and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for credit facilities, lines of credit, and loan agreements.
• Negotiate bank terms, fees, and credit arrangements to optimize cost of capital.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
• Oversee accounting, tax, audit, treasury, and financial controls.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Ensure compliance and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Making recommendations to business stakeholders.
