Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to lead all accounting and financial operations in Houston. This role is hands‑on and strategic, ensuring timely financial information and robust controls to support profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 5–6+ years of leadership experience in a professional services setting, and strong GAAP knowledge. CPA or advanced credentials are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow, general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Administer the company’s 401(k) plan and coordinate with vendors.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and controls.
