Job summary
Legacy Community Health in Houston, TX seeks a strategic, mission-driven VP, Strategic Finance to advance financial sustainability and growth. Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Financial Officer, this executive will shape treasury, capital planning, risk management, and enterprise analytics to guide organization-wide decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in finance leadership, deep experience in capital markets and M&A, and a proven ability to partner with C-suite teams in a nonprofit
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; 15+ years of leadership in finance, treasury, risk, or related areas.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred; professional designations (CPA/CFA/CTP) valued.
- Experience leading enterprise-level financial initiatives and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead treasury, liquidity strategies, and capital planning to support growth.
- Shape enterprise risk management capabilities and governance.
- Drive strategic transactions, partnerships, and due diligence.
- Provide executive analytics and decision support to leadership.
- Mentor and build a broader strategic finance function over time.
- Partner with the CFO and executives to influence resource allocation.
