JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will play a critical role in building and developing the financial health and growth of the company. Our ideal candidate will be able to think strategically, adapt to change, and create systems and processes from the ground up. Partnering closely with leadership, you will manage the day-to-day finance functions, take an active role in compliance, and develop a robust company-wide insurance program.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Work closely with the CEO and other members of the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
• Lead the FP&A function, producing detailed annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Optimize revenue recognition, pricing structures, and contract structures to align with company strategy
• Build scalable financial reporting frameworks to drive data-driven decision-making across the company
• Lead financial diligence for potential acquisitions, assessing risks related to financial health, liabilities, and revenue drivers
• Own core financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and reconciliations across revenue, expenses, and payroll
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and financial controls to support company growth
• Partner with external auditors and advisors to maintain strong financial integrity

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of financial management experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Advanced education in finance or related discipline
• Previous experience in a global infrastructure sales or infrastructure development company considered a strong asset
• CPA or CMA designation considered an asset
• Proven expertise in financial strategy, financial planning, FP&A, regulatory compliance, and scaling finance operations in high-growth environments
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Experience building and leading a finance team
• Experience managing external financial service providers considered an asset
• Previous experience in a start-up, high growth environment is preferred
