Finatal is exclusively retained on the search for a CFO to join a private equity-backed IT services business with $300m in revenue and strong momentum. Backed by a leading mid-market fund, the business is positioned for accelerated growth, operational improvement, and value creation.

This is a high-impact leadership role at a pivotal stage of the investment lifecycle. You'll work alongside a proven CEO and seasoned investors to drive strategic change, optimize performance, and build a finance function fit for scale and exit. You’ll need a track record of value creation in a PE environment, and a sharp understanding of what “great” looks like in IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and private equity investors to shape and execute the value creation plan.
• Lead financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting with accuracy and speed.
• Provide commercial insight into margin expansion, pricing, and cost optimization.
• Strengthen systems, controls, and processes to support operational rigor and scalability.
• Own board and investor reporting, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and trust.
• Lead M&A activity, including diligence, integration, and post-deal performance tracking.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance function aligned with strategic goals.
• Drive readiness for a successful exit, ensuring the business is deal-ready.
