Senior Accounting Manager | Series C SaaS | Remote (preferably East Coast)

Harmonic are proud to be working with a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS business that is looking to hire a well-rounded Senior Accounting Manager to join their expanding team.

Our client is an innovative company operating at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and developer tooling. Their platform helps engineering teams build, deploy, and manage applications more securely and efficiently at scale. By streamlining complex backend processes and enabling faster innovation cycles, they’ve become a go-to solution for enterprises looking to modernize their software architecture.

The company closed a significant Series C funding round and has raised close to $200M in total. In just two years, they’ve scaled revenue from $10M to $50M ARR and have a number of new products that they will be launching this year.

You’ll be joining a world-class finance function led by executives with top-tier investment banking and Big 4 experience, all of whom have a strong track record in scaling successful SaaS companies. The Role

As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the finance and accounting operations of the business. This role will suit either a well-rounded finance professional or an individual with a strong background in accounting that would like to get some exposure to budgeting and financial planning.

• Managing and coordinating all accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and other financial reports prepared by the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support clients with annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis.
• Manage cross functional relationships with Finance, IT, Marketing and Product.
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinating the annual audit process.
• Participating in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Keeping on top of industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices, and incorporating them into the company's financial operations.

What you need

• 5+ years’ progressive experience in Accounting
• Experience working in a fast-growth start-up
• Strong knowledge of USGAAP and audit preparation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience with budgeting / forecasting
